Approaching from the north or east
Travelling on the N18 at Kilcolgan, turn onto the N67 heading for Kinvarra / Ballyvaughan. Bell Harbour is a small inlet approx. 15 mins drive beyond Kinvarra, turn left into village and drive past Daly's pub and through the village, and Cois Cuane is the last left as you leave the village.Approaching from the south
Take the N85 out of Ennis, heading towards Corofin / Ennistymon, turn right onto the R476 for Corofin, carry on through Killinaboy and turn right onto the R480 for Ballyvaughan. At Ballyvaughan, bear right on the N67 towards Kinvarra, and Bell Harbour is about 10 mins from Ballyvaughan, turn left into village.Alternatives: stay on the N85, at Ennistymon follow directions to Lahinch, once there bear right onto the coastal routes R478 & R477 passing by the Cliffs of Moher, through Lisdoonvarna and round Blackhead to Ballyvaughan.
Viamichelin is good source for directions, although it must be noted that the location 'New Quay, county Clare, Ireland' should be entered as the destination, but it is Bell Harbour that is displayed (New Quay can be seen to the north) - select the first result in the link here.
